History of Wahlder Law in Central Louisiana


The Wahlder family came to Central Louisiana in the late 1800's and have been serving here ever since.

My great grandfather, Nathan Wahlder, began a small dry goods store in downtown Alexandria in the early 1900's.

My grandfather, Isaac Wahlder, began practicing law in Alexandria in the early 1900s. He practiced in the Commercial Building downtown.

My father, Mike Wahlder, followed my grandfather into practice in the 1950s. He later became a U.S. Magistrate and eventually an Administrative Law Judge.
